Providing stable and supportive foundations for adults to focus on their well-being

A Safe Place to Call Home

At Trellis, we know that stable housing creates the foundation people need to focus on their wellbeing, build connections and move forward in their lives. One of the ways we support adults in our community is through supportive housing programs that provide a stable place to live alongside ongoing supports.

As Trellis continues to grow our impact across Calgary, we are also exploring opportunities to expand affordable and supportive housing options in the community.

The Maple
what we offer

Long-term Recovery Focused Support for Females

The Maple is a place-based supportive housing program (PBSH), offering long-term recovery-oriented focused supports to female identifying residents 24 years and older.

The Maple provides direct holistic programming by developing opportunities that support connections to culture at times and in places that benefit the residents.

The overarching goal of the program is to transition individuals into either lower level supports or higher level supports for individuals that require long-term intensive supports.

Access to the Maple is managed by the triage table at Coordinated Access & Assessment.

To be considered at the triage table, potential residents must have an up-to-date NSQ. NSQ’s can be completed at SORCe (#2, 317 7th Ave SE) and are sometimes available directly through qualified Trellis staff members.

We support children and youth to experience new opportunities that develop confidence, skills for life, and encourage positive relationships.
