Creating a Space to Call Home
Thanks to our amazing landlord partners, we can provide families and young people in Calgary with a place to call home when they need it most.
Trellis Society’s housing programs provide extensive support to families and young people who are at-risk or experiencing homelessness in Calgary. We know that without stable housing, learning new skills and being successful is much more challenging and sometimes impossible. To learn more, request a follow-up with a housing liason.

Support for Landlords
Our Housing Liaisons support the landlord by:
- Being the main Trellis point of contact for the landlord.
- Attending viewings, facilitating lease signings or inspection reports, or both.
During the tenancy, the Housing Liaison will:
- Be the point of contact to provide ongoing support to landlord between program and tenants.
- Liaise between Support Workers and landlord regarding tenant issues/concerns (e.g., rent arrears, property maintenance, guest management, etc.)
- Support landlords by providing information on appropriate steps for ending tenancies if required.
* In some cases, the Housing Liaison will refer the landlord to the Residential Tenancy Dispute Resolution Service (RTDRS) should the tenant or Trellis not be able to resolve issues to the Landlord’s satisfaction.
