Creating Brighter Futures
Providing stable, supportive homes for children and youth who need safety, structure, and care. Through our Group Homes and Foster Care programs, Trellis offers nurturing environments that help young people build resilience, develop life skills, and move toward a brighter future.
Therapeutic and Culturally Inclusive Homes
The Group Care program provides care to youth who have status with the Ministry of Children’s Services. Each group home provides a therapeutic and culturally inclusive home-like atmosphere, creating a safe and holistic environment guided by trauma informed practice.
Our homes are staffed twenty-four hours per day by trained Developmental Wellness Workers who are responsible for the primary care, safety and development of the youth. We recognize that the youth we support may have traumatic histories that impact them differently, so we focus on service delivery that is strength-based and individualized to meet the unique needs of each person.

Warm, Safe and Dependable Care for Children and Youth
Foster care provides safe, stable homes for children and youth who are unable to live with their families for a period of time. It’s a space where young people can land, feel supported and begin to make sense of what comes next.
At Trellis, foster care is about more than a place to stay. It’s about connection, consistency and care during times of uncertainty. Foster parents open their homes and offer day-to-day support, while our team walks alongside both caregivers and youth with guidance, resources and wraparound services.
Every foster care journey looks different. Some are short-term, some longer. What stays consistent is the focus on helping children and youth feel safe, supported and able to grow.
