Team Trellis Makes an Impact at the 2026 Servus Calgary Marathon
The Servus Calgary Marathon once again brought together thousands of runners, walkers, volunteers and supporters for a weekend full of energy and community spirit, and Team Trellis was proud to be a part of it.
This year, 77 participants joined Team Trellis. Together, they raised an incredible $82,744, surpassing our fundraising goal of $80,000 in support of children, youth and families in Calgary and Strathmore.
One of the most memorable parts of this year’s marathon was seeing the creativity and passion behind each fundraiser.
Members of Team Trellis found fun and meaningful ways to rally their communities, including:
- Selling frybread tacos
- Selling farm fresh eggs
- Taking song requests for race day playlist
- Wearing QR code fundraising pins
- Sharing flyers at daycares and community groups
- Reaching out to friends, family and coworkers for support
Every idea, donation and conversation helped move Team Trellis closer to its goal.

The weather couldn’t have been better for this year’s marathon weekend. With sunshine overhead and plenty of excitement on the course, Team Trellis showed up ready to run, cheer and celebrate.
From personal bests to first-time participants, every milestone was met with encouragement from teammates, volunteers and supporters who helped make the day feel like a true community celebration.

A special thank you to our matching donors, including Hillcrest Financial and Graydon and Dorothy Morrison, whose generosity helped amplify the impact of every dollar raised.
Whether you ran, volunteered, donated, fundraised or cheered from the sidelines, thank you for being part of Team Trellis this year.
Together, we strengthened our community and helped create brighter futures for children, youth and families. That’s something worth celebrating.
See you again next year!
